About the 2011 Five University CSSA Gala
On the behalf of Chinese Students and Scholars Association Five University (CSSA-DURHAM, NEWCASTLE, NORTHUMBRIA, SUNDERLAND AND TEESSIDE), we coordinately invite you to join us. Each year, the Five University CSSA Gala has welcomed more than 1000 audiences and been acclaimed as the annual best showcase of Chinese culture. We include performers from all over the UK and we are currently working extremely hard in order to deliver a splendid show to all of you. It will be an unprecedented chance for you to be immersed in the joyful festive atmosphere and be exposed to the diverse Chinese culture.
Prepare to be amazed at a great variety of spectacular shows given by professional performers from all over the UK: cross-talks, comedy sketch, magic show, Chinese orchestra, vocal singing, martial arts, Chinese folk dancing and a whole lot more. Besides a mixture of performances from our friendly foreign friends has made this grand show a unique opportunity for culture exchange.

Hello everyone,
Many thanks for those of you who have showed great general interests to the 2011 CSSA Gala! However, we demand much more performers and participants to sparkle in the brightest light of the biggest CSSA gala stage across the UK!
Now we have categorized a good variety of proposed programmes. The programme list is being defining and refining. In other words, we have now entered the actual *Star Making* process! Let us dig the hidden you out!
I have listed the elaborately created programmes that are in demand of performers. Each of these now has a more specific demand on performers and participants. We have plenty of ways and designs to pack and turn you into stars as long as you have confidence, passion, potentials, and some talents, um well…, at least believe that you do. Say, why not to train dancing with us using some of your spare time — you’ll be proud of your artistic potentials, and then just be prepared that Cambridge will be proud of you!
Please browse the list of programmes to pick the one(s) you think you should belong to, or, it just looks like designed and tailored for you.
*Registration*
Please refer to the demand list to allocate yourself into the programme(s) that interest(s) you. We need a lot of you, really a lot… By completing the registration form, please send your information to cssanortheast@gmail.com by Sunday, 25th September, and we will inform you about each programme’s try-out gatherings, training slots, and etc. scheduled from next week. It is important that you clearly provide your information, then you will be entered into each programme’s performers mailing group.
